Veterinary sanitary expertise
About the programme
The Bachelor's Programme in Veterinary Sanitary Expertise (60840300) trains highly qualified specialists in ensuring the safety and quality control of products of animal origin, veterinary-sanitary assessment, food safety, and the protection of public health.
The programme is built on the in-depth study of veterinary medicine, microbiology, parasitology, epizootology, food safety, sanitary-hygienic control, and laboratory diagnostics. Students develop competencies in inspecting and evaluating the safety and quality of animal-derived products, conducting veterinary-sanitary expertise, applying laboratory diagnostic methods, and monitoring compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards.
Throughout the programme, students gain practical, applied experience alongside their theoretical training. Graduates are prepared to work in veterinary-sanitary expertise laboratories, food-safety and quality-control bodies, meat- and dairy-processing and other food enterprises, customs and market inspection services, scientific-research institutes, and state and local veterinary and public-health management organizations.
