60910200 - Training of bachelors in the educational field of "General Medicine" is carried out in the full-time form of education. The normative period of the undergraduate program in full-time education is 6 years.

1.1. Scope of Application
1.1.1. Application of Qualification Requirements. The qualification requirements represent a set of demands for all medical and pharmaceutical higher educational institutions training bachelors in the educational field of 60910200 - General Medicine.
1.1.2. Main Users of Qualification Requirements:
Management staff (Rector, Vice-Rectors, Head of the Academic Department, Deans, and Heads of Departments) and professional teaching staff of higher educational institutions who are responsible for developing and updating qualification requirements, curricula, and syllabi for this field of education, effectively implementing the educational process based on them, and who are responsible within their competence for the preparation level of graduates;
Students of the higher educational institution mastering the curriculum and syllabi of the educational field;
State Attestation Commissions conducting the evaluation of the preparation level of undergraduate graduates;
Authorized state bodies for education management;
Bodies ensuring the funding of higher educational institutions;
Authorized state bodies conducting accreditation and quality control of the higher education system;

1.2.1. Spheres of Professional Activity:
An educational field related to science and healthcare, which includes solving complex problems on medical and social functions in the primary sector of the healthcare system, promoting a healthy lifestyle among the population, preventing the occurrence and spread of acute and chronic diseases, developing and implementing anti-epidemic and anti-pandemic measures within the framework of preventing infectious diseases, solving fundamental tasks regarding patients' medical problems using modern methods of diagnosis and treatment extensively, and resolving comprehensive issues on performing medical and social duties in the primary care level of the healthcare system.
1.2.2. Objects of Professional Activity:
State and non-state treatment-prophylactic institutions, all organizations and institutions related to the healthcare sector, including primary health care institutions (district central multidisciplinary polyclinics, family polyclinics, and family doctor points), etc. In case of undergoing pedagogical retraining, graduates of the 60910200 - General Medicine educational field have the right to engage in pedagogical activity for teaching general professional and specialized disciplines determined by the authorized educational management bodies in professional educational institutions.

1.2.4. Professional Tasks
In accordance with the 6th qualification level of the National Qualifications Framework for the educational field of 60910200-General Medicine, as well as the spheres, objects, and types of professional activities of a bachelor, the undergraduate graduate must be capable of effectively performing the following professional tasks:

In scientific-research activity:
Participating in the execution of research work on modern management methods of branches and fields in scientific-research institutes and centers;
Studying and systematizing scientific and technical achievements, specialized literature, and other scientific-technical information in the country and foreign countries dedicated to ensuring a modern management system for entities of all healthcare levels;
Collecting, processing, analyzing, and systematizing economic and medical information on problematic topics regarding the provision of modern management systems for branches and fields;
Participating in the preparation of research developments and conducting expertise on field literature;
Implementing research results and developments into practice.

In medical-prophylactic activity:
Independently developing, coordinating, and conducting a complex of health-improving, sanitary-hygienic, and prophylactic measures;
Forming healthy lifestyle skills among the population and patients, increasing their physical and medical activity;
Studying advanced prophylactic measures applied in the medical-prophylactic direction and implementing them into practice;
Possessing the abilities to perform independent practical activity and evaluation as a highly qualified specialist with the full scope of necessary skills in organizing prophylactic measures in the medical-prophylactic field.

In diagnostic and treatment activity:
Readiness to implement a series of measures aimed at preserving and strengthening the health of children and adult patients, including forming a healthy lifestyle, preventing the occurrence and (or) spread of diseases, their early diagnosis, identifying their causes and conditions of occurrence and development, as well as eliminating the harmful effects of environmental factors on the health of children and adults;
Readiness to conduct prophylactic medical examinations, medical check-ups, and dispensary observation of healthy children and adults, as well as patients suffering from chronic diseases;
Organizing the protection of the population during anti-epidemic measures, worsening radiation situations, natural disasters, and other emergencies, as well as in centers of particularly dangerous infectious diseases;
Using social and hygienic methods for collecting and medico-statistical analysis of data on health indicators of children and adults;
Collecting and analyzing patients' complaints, anamnesis data, examination results, laboratory, instrumental, pathological, and other studies to establish the state or determine the presence or absence of a disease;
Identifying main pathological states, disease symptoms, syndromes, and nosological forms in patients in accordance with the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (adopted by the 43rd World Health Assembly, Xth revision, Geneva, 1989);
Participating in providing emergency medical care to patients in conditions requiring urgent medical intervention;
Managing physiological pregnancy and the labor process;
Participating in providing medical care in emergency situations, including medical evacuation;
Determining the necessity of using natural healing factors, drug and non-drug therapy, and other methods in patients requiring medical rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort treatment.

In organizational-managerial activity:
Working as assistants to department heads, assistants to deputy chief physicians in primary health care institutions (district central multidisciplinary polyclinics, family polyclinics, and family doctor points), and assistants to first deputy chief physicians in central district and city hospitals;
Working as assistants to deputy chief physicians of the Republican Scientific-Practical Center of Urgent Medical Care, the Committee for Sanitary-Epidemiological Well-being and Public Health, and their territorial branches;
Organizing and managing the work of the primary care level in healthcare;
Drawing up a work plan for the performed activity, executing it, controlling it, and evaluating the results of the work done;
Implementing solutions to professional problems into practice, managing quality in the production process.

In information-analytical activity:
Evaluating the effectiveness of projects;
Preparing reports on the results of information-analytical activities;
Evaluating the effectiveness of management decisions.

Managing physiological pregnancy and the labor process;
Participating in providing medical care in emergency situations, including medical evacuation;
Determining the necessity of using natural healing factors, drug and non-drug therapy, and other methods in patients requiring medical rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort treatment;
Teaching children, their parents (legal representatives), and adults the basic hygienic measures of healthcare, self-control skills of main physiological indicators contributing to health preservation, strengthening, and disease prevention;
Participating in evaluating the quality of medical care provided to patients using basic medico-statistical indicators;
Analyzing medical information and presenting it based on evidence-based medicine principles;
Participating in scientific research;

3. Requirements for Internships.
Qualificatory internship is aimed at consolidating theoretical knowledge in general professional and specialized disciplines, integrating them with practical (production) processes, and forming relevant practical skills, competencies, and qualifications. The following types of internships are conducted in the educational field:

2. Production internship;
