GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE FACULTY OF PEDAGOGY AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

The Faculty of Pedagogy and Social Sciences currently has 2 undergraduate programs:
5111700 – Primary Education and Sports Education;
5110900 – Pedagogy and Psychology.
A total of 828 students study in these programs. Of these, 195 are studying on a state grant basis, and 633 are studying on a contract basis.
Of the total number of students, 767 are Uzbeks, 49 are Tajiks, 4 are Turkmen, 1 is Kazakh, 2 are Karakalpaks, 2 are Turkish, 2 are Iranian, and 1 is Moldovan. Of the 828 students, 681 are from different districts of Surkhandarya region, 147 are from other regions. Of the total number of students, 21 are disabled, and 9 are orphans.

The faculty has a total of 23 professors, of whom 3 are candidates of science and 2 are associate professors.
Information about the Faculty of Pedagogy-Psychology and Primary Education
The Faculty of Pedagogy-Psychology and Primary Education (formerly known as the Faculty of Pedagogy) began its activities as part of the Termez branch of the Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University, established on the basis of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 170 dated March 5, 2018 “On the establishment of the Termez branch of the Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University”.
Since February 5, 2018, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Q.B. Kadyrov has been working as the Dean of the Faculty to this day.
The following Deputy Deans of the Faculty have been working as the Deans for Youth Work: U.O. Toramurodov (since February 5, 2018), and for Academic Affairs: A.N. Muratov (since November 8, 2019).
In the past, the following Deputy Deans of the Faculty for Academic Affairs: Z.Y. Bozorov (from February 2018 to August 2018); A.A. Allamuratov (from August 2018 to February 2019); T.Kh. Avliyakulov (from February 2019 to November 2019).
From February 2018 to August 2021, 2 departments operated at the faculty (from February 2018, “Primary Education and Exact Sciences”, from January 2020, “Primary Education Methodology” and “Preschool Education Methodology”).
From February 2018 to March 2018, the head of the “Primary Education and Exact Sciences” department was M.E. Jumayev, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences; from March 2018 to March 2019, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor G.O. Ernazarova; from March 2019 to October 2019, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor B.Y. Yoriyev; from October 2019, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences A.A. Rakhmatullayev.
The head of the department "Preschool Education Methodology" was O.Kh. Kadirova, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor from March 2018 to January 2020; O.Sh. Yaqubov, candidate of geographical sciences from February 2020 to August 2021.
Starting from September 2021, the name of the Faculty of Pedagogy was renamed the Faculty of Pedagogy-Psychology and Primary Education.
Starting from the 2021/2022 academic year, 3 departments were established at the faculty - Pedagogy (head - candidate of pedagogical sciences A.S. Samiyev); Psychology (head - candidate of psychological sciences, associate professor M.A. Norbasheva) and Primary Education Methodology (head - candidate of pedagogical sciences A.A. Rakhmatullayev).
As the first graduates of the faculty, 44 students graduated from the 4th stage of the “primary education and sports educational work” educational program in the 2020/2021 academic year; 47 students graduated from the 4th stage of the “mother tongue and literature in foreign-language groups: Russian language and literature” educational program; and 138 students graduated from the 3rd-4th stage of the “preschool education” educational program and received a “bachelor” degree.
Starting from the 2021-2022 academic year, 828 students are studying at the faculty in the “Pedagogy and Psychology” and “Primary Education” educational programs. In particular, there are 2 groups of students studying in Russian and Tajik at the 1st stage of the “Primary Education” educational program.
In addition, 184 young men and women have been admitted to the faculty departments for the master's degree from the 2021/2022 academic year, and their training in the fields of (Theory and Methodology of Education and Training (Primary Education); Theory and History of Pedagogy; Pedagogy and Psychology) has been organized.
The "Kind Hands" charitable volunteer fund, established in 2020 on the initiative of the faculty students, continues its activities today. At the same time, holidays or preventive events of state and local importance are constantly held with the involvement of students.
Since November 2018, the faculty has established international cooperation relations with the Volgograd State Socio-Pedagogical University (VDIPU) of the Russian Federation.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE FACULTY OF PHYSICAL CULTURE

The Faculty of Physical Culture currently has 2 educational areas and 3 specialties, which are:

60112200-Physical Culture (full-time) educational area

60112200-Physical Culture (full-time) educational area for women's sports

60112200-Physical Culture (part-time) educational area

70112201 - Theory and methodology of physical education and sports

A total of 470 students, 98 master's students, study in these educational areas. Of these, 127 study on the basis of a state grant, 441 on the basis of a contract.

Of the 568 students, 555 are from different districts of Surkhandarya region, 13 from other regions. 5 of the students are disabled, 1 is an orphan.

There is 1 department at the faculty:

Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture.

A total of 22 professors and teachers work in the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture, of which 18 professors and teachers are full-time, 2 are on an internal basis, and 4 are on an external basis. Among the professors and teachers, 1 candidate of science, 3 associate professors, 2 senior teachers, and 9 teachers without academic degrees and titles work in the department.

The department was established on August 26, 2021-2022 academic year on the basis of the “Physical Culture” department.

· It was renamed the “Physical Culture” department under the Faculty of History, Arts and Sports.

· Since 2022, the department has been renamed the “Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture”.

· Associate Professor Daminov Ilkhomjon Ashiralievich has been working as the head of the department since September 6, 2021.

The average age of the teachers of the department is 44 years old, the number of subjects taught at the department is 29, of which 11 are elective subjects.

Faculty of Physical Culture

Training of specialists in the field of physical culture and sports at the Termez State Pedagogical Institute began in 2021 with the opening of the Department of Physical Culture under the Faculty of History, Arts and Sports. The Faculty of Physical Culture was established in 2022.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE FACULTY OF NATURAL SCIENCES

The Faculty of Natural Sciences currently has 2 educational directions and 1 specialty, namely:

60110900-Biological education

60110800- Chemical education

70110901-Methods of teaching exact and natural sciences (biology).

A total of 375 students are studying in these educational areas. Of these, 106 are studying on the basis of a state grant, 169 are studying on the basis of a contract, 1 of them was accepted for study on the recommendation of a military unit, 10 are included in the youth register, 1 is registered in the military register, 2 are registered in women’s register, 1 is an orphan, 23 of them are 10 orphans and disabled students.

Of the total number of students, 365 people belong to Uzbek nationality, 8 to Tajik nationality, 2 to Turkmen nationality. Of the 375 students, 325 study from different regions of the Surkhandarya region, 50 from other regions.

Currently, there are 3 educational directions at the Faculty of Philology.
There are 3 specialties:

5111300 – Native language and literature (Russian language and literature in foreign language groups)
60111400 – Uzbek language and literature

A total of 634 students (100 boys and 534 girls) are studying in these educational areas. Of these, 132 people study on the basis of a state grant, 502 on a contract basis.

The Faculty of Preschool Education currently has a total of 3 educational areas and 3 specialties:

A total of 736 students study in these areas. Of these, 130 are studying on a state grant basis, 606 on a contract basis, 2 were admitted on the recommendation of the military unit, 1 on a payment contract basis, 1 on a state grant, and 1 on the quota for women by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Of the total 736 students, 715 are Uzbeks, 14 are Tajiks, 1 Kazakh, 4 Turkmen, and 2 are Karakalpaks. Of the 736 students, 557 are from different districts of Surkhandarya region, 179 are from other regions. Of the total, 14 are disabled and 56 are orphans.

Preschool Education

The head of the department, Berdieva Muhabbat Meylievna, was born in 1968. On May 29, 2020, she defended her doctoral thesis on the topic "Developing the intellectual potential of preschool educational institutions through pedagogical support."

4 professors and teachers of the department are conducting scientific research.

Technological Education

The head of the department, Dosyorov Khudoimurod Chorshanbievich, was born in 1960. He graduated from the Termez State Pedagogical Institute with a degree in physics and labor. On November 21, 1997, he defended his candidate dissertation on the topic "Methodology of studying applied physics in general education schools". Since 2000, he has been working as an associate professor. Since September 2021, he has been working as the head of the department of technological education. Author of 1 monograph, 1 textbook, 1 methodological manual. In the 2021-2022 academic year, 6.5 full-time professors worked in the department. In the 2022-2023 academic year, 12 full-time professors will work in the department.

Imanov Bakhtiyor Berdievich was born on September 20, 1957. He graduated from the Termez State Pedagogical Institute with a degree in physics and labor teacher of general technical sciences at the School. In 2001, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Methodology of Formulating and Solving Problems in Physics and Local Studies." Since 2005, he has been working as an associate professor.

Tasks of the Master's program

· Coordinates the activities of 14 departments and deans of faculties of Termez State Pedagogical Institute;

· Ensures and controls the implementation of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Education, Decrees of the President, Orders, Resolutions, Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, Resolutions of boards, orders, instructions, modemograms and telephone messages of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, as well as orders of the rector at faculties, departments and departments;

· Convey to students the content of decrees and resolutions adopted by the President and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

· Develop the necessary regulatory documents on the specialties of the Master's program, as well as regularly improve them taking into account the requirements and suggestions of customers of personnel;

· Conclude and implement agreements on mutually beneficial cooperation between the institute and enterprises, organizations, private enterprises and firms in the industry;

· Coordinate and control the activities of all divisions of the institute for the preparation of masters;

· Assist in organizing and implementing the educational process for training masters;

· Monitor the quality of education and training of masters;

· Monitor the performance of tasks assigned to teachers who carry out pedagogical activities at the master's level, increase their social, professional and personal activity;

· Systematic analysis of the current situation in the master's program, identifying problem situations, determining priority areas for the development of the master's program;

· Regular monitoring of the further employment of masters;

· Monitor the implementation of scientific and pedagogical, research and master's dissertation activities of master's students in accordance with the calendar plan of work of master's students in accordance with the Regulation "On the Master's Program";

· Analyse issues related to the preparation of Masters students and ensure the preparation of regular reports on them

· Ensure the effective organisation of examinations for the Bachelor's and Master's degrees and the defence of Master's theses.
