About the university
The Almalyk Branch of NUST MISIS is an academic division of the National University of Science and Technology MISIS. It is located in Almalyk, Tashkent Region, one of the major industrial centres of Uzbekistan.
The branch offers programmes in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Automation of Technological Processes and Production, Electric Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering, Information Systems and Technologies, and Economics.
The educational process combines fundamental theoretical training, practical classes, project activities and research. Students may participate in academic competitions, scientific conferences, engineering contests, case championships and educational projects.
