Economy

The Economics programme is designed to train specialists in enterprise performance analysis, planning, resource management and economically informed decision-making.

Students study economic theory, enterprise economics, accounting, finance, statistics, taxation, marketing, management, business performance analysis, investment planning and the fundamentals of the digital economy.

Practical training includes working with economic indicators, calculating production costs and efficiency, preparing budgets, analysing financial statements, evaluating investment projects and developing proposals to improve enterprise performance.

Special attention is given to the economics of industrial enterprises, the efficient use of material, labour and financial resources, productivity improvement and the sustainable development of organisations.

Graduates may work as economists, financial analysts, planning and budgeting specialists, accountants, procurement specialists, investment analysts, project management specialists and enterprise development specialists.
