Theater arts

This educational program is aimed at providing students with theoretical and practical foundations of theatre art. It includes the main elements and genres of theatre, the history and development processes of world and Uzbek theatre, as well as the application of contemporary processes in acting, directing, and dramaturgy into practice.

Within this educational program, you are required to earn 120 credits over 3 semesters (2 years).

Total classroom hours: 900 hours
Scientific internship hours: 150 hours
Scientific-pedagogical activity: 210 hours
Preparation and defense of research and master’s thesis: 540 hours

Components of the educational process

Notes:

1. 1 credit equals 30 academic hours.

2. For course projects and coursework, 1 credit is granted for every 30 academic hours of independent study.

3. The period of final state attestation includes preparation and defense of the master’s thesis.

4. Scientific internship and experience are conducted at higher education institutions, research institutions, and basic partner organizations or enterprises.
