Vegetable farming

The Master's Programme in Vegetable and Melon Growing (70811901) belongs to the field of Agriculture and trains highly qualified specialists in the scientific organization and management of vegetable and melon (cucurbit) production.

The programme is oriented toward the efficient use of land, water, energy, and material-technical resources to raise the yield and quality of vegetable and melon crops and to ensure food security. Students develop advanced competencies in modern, resource-efficient cultivation technologies, the seasonal and protected-environment production of vegetable and cucurbit crops, the optimization of production processes, and the introduction of scientific and innovative practices into the sector.
