About the programme
The Bachelor’s Degree Program in Translation Theory and Practice: French Language prepares highly qualified professionals capable of providing accurate and effective translation and interpretation between French and other languages, facilitating intercultural communication, and applying modern translation technologies in professional practice. The curriculum includes French grammar and stylistics, translation theory and practice, written and oral translation, fundamentals of simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, terminology, intercultural communication, computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, and advanced foreign language studies. Students develop practical skills in translating texts from various professional fields, interpreting in international settings, and translating official, legal, scientific, and technical documents. Graduates may pursue careers in governmental and private organizations, international companies, translation agencies, educational institutions, diplomatic missions, tourism organizations, and mass media.
