The goal of this program is to train specialists in the field of philology for modern society, who will be able to successfully work as teachers of the Russian language, as well as specialists in the field of philology.

Over the course of 4 years of study, students in this area of ​​education will immerse themselves in the world of the modern Russian language, study its phonetics, lexicology, and also plunge into the world of literature and linguistics.

The educational program is focused on training specialists in the field of philology for modern society. Internship in the field of professional activities, including teaching, is aimed at mastering the methods of teaching the Russian language. In addition, during the course of their studies, students in this program gain skills in public speaking, oral and written communication, as well as research work.

After successful completion of the program, graduates of the program will be able to work as Russian language teachers in various educational institutions, research staff at educational, cultural and management institutions, scientific editors at a scientific literature publishing house, research fellows at a research institute, employees of government agencies, and specialists in working with texts of various types.

In this educational program you will need to accumulate 240 credits over 8 semesters (4 years), including:

Classroom training: 6420 hours

Qualifying practice: 360 hours

Final qualifying work: 420 hours

Note:

• 1 credit is 30 academic hours;
• In order to ensure theoretical and practical integrity, qualification practice is carried out in organizations and enterprises;
• Assessment of students’ knowledge is carried out on the basis of regulations developed in accordance with the credit system.
