70531101 – Astronomy (research field) master's degree course, master's students acquire knowledge and skills such as scientific activity, theoretical education, scientific research work and preparation of master's thesis and scientific practice (gaining experience). After 2 years of study, students will receive the academic degree of Master.

Astronomy (research field) master's education form is full-time and lasts 2 years. During the second year of the educational process, students gain experience in scientific practice in higher education, scientific research institutions, industry and network organizations and enterprises for 6 weeks.

State certification:

Master's thesis defense

Note:

1. 1 credit is 30 academic hours.

2. The institution of higher education takes into account the requirements of personnel customers when developing the program of specialized subjects and forming the list of subjects.

3. A load of 30 hours (1 credit) is allocated to the project (work) of the course in the subjects at the expense of the independent hours allocated to the subject.

4. Scientific practice (gaining experience) is carried out in higher education, scientific research institutions, industry and branch organizations and enterprises.

VACATION TIME:

1. 1st course:

- from the 5th week of December to the 1st week of January (25.12.2023-07.01.2024 for 2024)

- from the 2nd week of June to September (10.06.2024-02.09.2024 for 2024)

2. 2nd course:

- from the 5th week of December to the 1st week of January (25.12.2023-07.01.2024 for 2024)

- from the 1st week of July to September (07/01/2024-09/02/2024 for 2024)
