About the programme
70811101 – In the master's specialization in Medicinal Plant Cultivation and Processing Technology, students must earn 30 credits per semester and 60 credits per academic year. The study period is two years, and the student must complete 120 credits by the end of the program. One ECTS credit is equivalent to 30 academic hours, and the student's annual workload amounts to 1,800 academic hours. Of this, 40% is allocated to in-class time and 60% to independent study. The number of credits a student must earn per semester includes the required and elective courses listed in the course catalog.
70811101 - Bachelor's program in Technology of Medicinal Plant Cultivation and Processing – scientific research institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and pharmaceutical enterprises, including “SHANAZ” LLC, “RADIKS” LLC, “ZUMA-PHARMA” LLC, “Dentafill”, the Tashkent Scientific Research Institute of Vaccines and Sera under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Acad. Close cooperation has been established with the F.N. Rusanov Tashkent Botanical Garden, and during scientific research, the structure, physiological functions, distribution area, systematic position, principles of delimitation, as well as the secondary metabolites in the plants, their biosynthesis, classification, cultivation, collection, drying, and processing (standardization, certification), active supplements, which consists of developing the profile-specific knowledge, skills, and competencies for directing the production of raw material bases using modern equipment.
