Medical preventive work

Based on the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-2909 dated April 20, 2017, “On Measures for the Further Development of the Higher Education System,” and Resolution No. PQ-4790 dated July 27, 2020, “On Measures for Organizing the Activities of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” the Faculty of Medical Prevention, Healthcare Management and International Students was established.

The Faculty of Medical Prevention, Healthcare Management and International Students was founded in September 2020. Currently, 11 staff members work in the dean’s office, and the total student population exceeds 1,703. Among them, 1,219 are international students, including: Turkmenistan – 11, Kyrgyzstan – 15, India – 760, Pakistan – 414, Russia – 11, Afghanistan – 2, Egypt – 1, Tajikistan – 3, Nepal – 1, and Bangladesh – 1 student.

In the 2026–2027 academic year, the quota for local students was set at 50 places in Uzbek- and Russian-language programs, while the number of international students expected to be enrolled is approximately 250.

The faculty also includes 7 departments. The dean’s office supervises the educational, methodological, scientific, and spiritual-educational activities of these departments. The departments possess strong academic potential and are staffed by highly qualified professors, lecturers, and experienced specialists.

In the 2025–2026 academic year, 94 students graduated from the Medical Prevention program, while 126 international students graduated from the General Medicine program.
