70220301 – History (by Fields and Types of Activity). This master's programme covers the set of professional fields related to advanced academic training in specific periods and areas of the history of Uzbekistan and world history, the comparative and critical analysis of historical sources, independent research in source studies, historiography, archaeology, ethnology and archival studies, the application of modern historical research methodology and digital history tools, and the publication of research results. Graduates may work as lecturers and senior lecturers in higher education institutions, as researchers at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sectoral research institutes, as leading specialists and experts in museums, archives, reserves and cultural heritage sites, and in public administration bodies, local and international organisations, the mass media and publishing, as well as continue their academic career in doctoral studies (PhD).
