General Medicine

The General Medicine educational program is a field of study in healthcare and medicine that covers a wide range of professional activities, including providing primary, emergency, and specialized medical care within the healthcare system; diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating patients using modern diagnostic and treatment methods in internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, infectious diseases, and other clinical disciplines; preventing diseases, organizing preventive healthcare measures, conducting dispensary follow-up, improving the quality of medical and social services; as well as carrying out scientific research at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, research institutes, and scientific-production associations, and performing professional activities in public and private healthcare institutions.
