The training of bachelors in the direction of therapeutic affairs is carried out on the basis of the curriculum and subject programs of higher education, a "Bachelor's" qualification (degreel) and official document(s) of the state model on higher education are issued to a person who has fully mastered theoretical and practical training, and who has successfully passed the final state certification. The standard period of study is 6 years. During this period, students master the following skills: organization of medical activities in the primary health care system; protection of public health and promotion of a healthy lifestyle; development and implementation of all types of prevention of acute and chronic diseases common among the population; prevention of infectious diseases and the development and implementation of measures necessary in the context of epidemics and pandemics; acquire the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of emergency care and apply them in practice; possess up-to-date information and knowledge about diseases and problems relevant in the field of medicine and regularly get acquainted with them and apply information about them in the process of work; purposeful application of modern standards for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases common among the population; in cases where medical and rehabilitation measures are required, timely implementation of measures for their use in the amount necessary for the population; efficient use of available resources in cooperation with organizations responsible for social protection of the population.
