This academic program aims to provide students with the theoretical and practical foundations of cultural studies, including the key elements and genres of world and Uzbek culture, the history of civilizations, their development trends, and current processes. To reach these goals, students acquire methodological and creative skills applicable to research and practice in cultural studies.

Structure of the academic process:

• Theoretical study and research – 45 weeks (semesters 1–3)

• Scientific internship – 5 weeks (semester 4)

• Attestations – 16 weeks (semesters 1–3)

• Research and thesis – 13 weeks (semester 4)

• Vacations – 18 weeks (semesters 1–4)

Notes:

1. 1 credit = 30 academic hours

2. 1 credit is awarded for every 30 hours of independent work on course projects

3. Final state certification includes the preparation and defense of a master's thesis

4. Scientific practice is conducted in universities, research institutions, and partner organizations
