The 60610500 – Computer Engineering ("Computer Engineering," "IT Service," "Multimedia Technologies") educational program is a bachelor's degree field in the relevant scientific discipline. Its professional activity covers solving complex problems in computer engineering within the field of digital technologies at state and non-state enterprises, organizations, institutions, and state governance bodies, as well as encompassing a range of professional fields related to research work at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, network research institutes, research centers, and research-production associations.
In the 1st stage, all subjects specified in the curriculum are taught in Uzbek.
Students acquire general and professional competencies, knowledge, and skills through mastering compulsory and elective subjects included in the curriculum in a logical sequence, completing internships, and performing other academic activities and assignments.
Compulsory subjects – a set of subjects aimed directly at acquiring general and professional competencies within the bachelor's degree field, providing the necessary foundational knowledge and skills.
Elective subjects – a set of subjects that provide additional, in-depth knowledge based on specialization within the educational field, serve to expand the competencies necessary for the specific specialization, and are also aimed at supporting the student's personal interests, creative approaches, and talents.
Qualification practice (production and pre-graduation internships) – aimed at reinforcing theoretical knowledge from general professional and specialized subjects, integrating it with practical (production) processes, and forming the relevant practical skills, competencies, and qualifications.
Upon successful completion of the 4-year program, graduates are awarded the qualification of "Computer Systems Engineer."
1 credit equals 30 academic hours.
The GPA indicator is determined every year in the third week of August.
The elective subjects block is determined by decision of the Higher Education Institution Council, based on a set of subjects that ensure compliance with labor market and personnel demand requirements, as well as flexibility and mobility.
When developing the working curriculum based on the general curriculum, while maintaining the weekly workload volume for students, the volume of the academic subject block may be changed by up to 5%, the volume of subjects within blocks by up to 10%, and weekly workload volumes may be freely determined for certain semesters while maintaining the overall classroom workload volume.
The final state certification period also includes the defense of the graduation qualification thesis.
Practical sessions for specialization-related subjects included in the curriculum are conducted at general secondary education institutions.
To ensure the integration of theory and practice, students' qualification internships are conducted at general secondary education institutions.
Physical education and sports is organized as an elective course through sports sections based on the student's voluntary choice.
Course work is completed within 1 credit, using the independent study hours allocated for that subject.
