About the programme

Computational Linguistics is one of the most modern master’s programmes at the intersection of linguistics, information technologies and artificial intelligence. The programme is designed for students who want to work with digital language data processing, natural language processing, electronic dictionaries, language corpora, machine translation and intelligent linguistic systems.

During the programme, students study computational linguistics, natural language processing, morphological and semantic text analysis, linguistic modelling, electronic dictionaries, linguistic ontologies, language corpora, fundamentals of programming, databases, speech recognition and synthesis systems, and AI-based language technologies. The learning process combines academic research, practical projects, software solution development, master’s thesis preparation and professional practice.
