About the programme
Bukhara State Technical University
Alternative Energy Sources (by types) Program
Information
Alternative energy sources is a modern energy field that studies technologies for obtaining electrical and thermal energy using renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, water, biomass, and other sources. This field is aimed at producing environmentally friendly energy, increasing energy efficiency, and developing the energy sector of the future.
The Alternative Energy Sources program at Bukhara State Technical University prepares engineers who are capable of designing, installing, managing, and effectively using renewable energy systems. The program is developed based on modern energy technologies and environmental requirements.
What will you learn?
Solar energy – solar panels, photovoltaic systems, and technologies for using solar energy.
Wind energy – wind generators and devices for producing electrical energy.
Fundamentals of hydropower – efficient use of water energy and small hydropower installations.
Biomass energy – technologies for obtaining energy from organic waste.
Energy devices and systems – structure and operating principles of alternative energy equipment.
Power supply and energy storage systems – technologies for managing and storing generated energy.
Energy efficiency – reducing energy consumption and creating economical systems.
Automation and monitoring systems – controlling renewable energy installations.
