The "National Dishes" festival was held at Kokand State Pedagogical Institute.
The festival, organized to showcase the ancient values of our people, unique traditional dishes, and to preserve customs, became one of the key events ahead of the Navruz holiday, highlighting distinctive gastronomic heritage and national values.
Opening the event, the first vice-rector of the institute, Ahmadjon Husanov, emphasized its significance, noting the harmonious display of national dishes and values, as well as the active involvement of young people.
As part of the festival, performances by talented youth, an exhibition of national handicrafts, the process of cooking pilaf, and a fashion show of traditional attire were held. Uzbek hospitality, the sound of folk music and songs, young men in white robes and skullcaps, and female students dressed in beautiful atlas and adras outfits added a unique charm to the celebration.
The artistic performances presented by the youth brought joy to all attendees. At the end of the event, active participants in the competition were duly awarded.
