Today, the Rector of Bukhara State University, Obidjon Khamidov, received Professor Eva Orthmann, Chief Coordinator of the German DAAD project titled “European Prospects in Dialogue: Central Asian and Western Studies” and a professor at the University of Göttingen.
The meeting was attended by N. Atabayev, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages; M. Ahmedova, Associate Professor of the Department of English Literature and Translation Studies; Dr. Mohd Nazish Khan, Head of the International Department at Samarkand State University; and E. Karimov, Chief Specialist of the International Cooperation Department at Bukhara State University.
During the meeting, the parties discussed establishing cooperative ties within the framework of the Erasmus+ project, initiating academic exchange programs for professors, lecturers, and students, and organizing a series of practical classes by Dr. Kenyon Branan, Professor at the University of Göttingen, to be conducted over the course of one week.
