The Champion Girl of Kokand State University — Maftuna Davronova is Number One Again!
The Uzbekistan Fencing Championship among adults is ongoing at the “Pakhtakor” Fencing Sports Complex in Tashkent. Around 90 athletes from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, various regions, and the city of Tashkent are participating. They are competing for the championship title in both individual and team events in épée, foil, and sabre categories.
Maftuna Davronova, a student of Kokand State University, showed exceptional skill in the individual foil competition and secured first place.
She also competed successfully as part of the “Fergana” team in the team events, earning another gold medal.
