Today, the rector of Kokand State Pedagogical Institute, Dilnoza Khodjayeva, met with a group of students on the occasion of December 3 — International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
During the meeting, D. Khodjayeva emphasized that at the core of the reforms being implemented in our country is the respect for human dignity, support for socially vulnerable groups, and ensuring the rights and freedoms of people with disabilities, which remains a constant priority for the nation's leadership.
It should be noted that currently, 132 students with disabilities are studying at Kokand State Pedagogical Institute. They are provided with social assistance, material and moral support, and favorable conditions to secure their place in society.
At the meeting, the institute's rector announced that 132 students with disabilities would be granted a one-time monetary incentive equal to twice the amount of the basic scholarship.
