Professors M. Danova, D. Danov, and V. Dobichina from Sofia University (Bulgaria) visited the Faculty of Foreign Languages
On October 15, professors M. Danova, D. Danov, and V. Dobichina from Sofia University (Bulgaria) visited the Faculty of Foreign Languages. They held a lively and friendly discussion with the faculty members of the Departments of English Literature and Translation Studies and English Linguistics on expanding cooperation.
In particular, the parties discussed topics such as supply and demand in education, the quality of teaching, innovative approaches to conducting scientific research, academic integrity, ethical standards in education, and intercultural cooperation.
For the past four years, Bukhara State University and Sofia University have been successfully collaborating under a joint education program. As part of this program, academic exchanges, internships, professional development, guest lectures, thematic webinars, and participation in prestigious international conferences have been organized on a regular basis.
Notably, in May of this year, a delegation of about 30 professors, lecturers, and students, led by BukhSU Rector Obidjon Khamidov, visited Sofia University as part of the ongoing collaboration.
