«Наука и женщина: к устойчивому обществу» — в Бухаре прошла научно-просветительская конференция
On February 11, in celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, a scientific and educational conference titled “Science and Women: Towards a Sustainable Society” was held at Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute.
The event was organized at the initiative of the Department for Family and Women Affairs and brought together women scientists, professors, researchers, and talented female students who contribute significantly to the development of science and education in the region.
The conference highlighted the important role of women in advancing science within the framework of the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy, training competitive professionals, and enhancing the intellectual potential of youth.
At the end of the event, female students who are recipients of state scholarships, as well as active women scientists serving as role models through their research, were honored.
The conference contributed to supporting women’s participation in science, strengthening their social status, and inspiring the younger generation to pursue scientific endeavors.
