Meetings with parents are ongoing
At Kokand State University, parent meetings under the theme “I am not indifferent to my child’s future” are being consistently held for first-year students. In this regard, another meeting was organized at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology. The event was attended by the university’s First Vice-Rector Ahmadjon Husanov, Dean of the Faculty Nigora Erkaboyeva, Head of the Anti-Corruption “Compliance Control” Department Mirzobek Mahmudov, professors and teachers, prevention inspectors assigned to the faculty, students, and their parents.
The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty, Nigora Erkaboyeva, who spoke about the priority tasks in the educational process of students in the new academic year, the responsibility of parents, and the importance of maintaining constant cooperation with them. She also provided information about the reforms being carried out at the faculty and efforts to organize the educational process in line with modern requirements.
First Vice-Rector Ahmadjon Husanov, in his speech, emphasized the broad opportunities created for students by the university administration and the ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education and the educational process. He also stressed that parents should not remain indifferent to the future of their children and should closely follow their studies, social life, and interests.
During the meeting, parents raised questions of concern, sharing their views on the conditions of their children’s education, the social and moral environment at the faculty, student dormitories, and the meaningful organization of leisure time. University officials responded to the parents’ inquiries and expressed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation.
At the end of the event, the parties agreed to hold such meetings regularly, strengthen effective communication between parents and the university, and enhance cooperation in fostering students as well-rounded individuals.
