Kokand State Pedagogical Institute is participating in the III International Turkology Congress.

The Kokand State Pedagogical Institute, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, Çankırı Karatekin University in Turkey, and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, is organizing the III International Turkology Congress, which will be held on December 2-4 this year in Baku. The congress is attended by Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan; Cahit Bagci, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Azerbaijan; as well as rectors and representatives from higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, and staff from scientific institutions and organizations.

The main goal of the congress is to discuss issues such as the importance of material and spiritual heritage, the preservation of cultural heritage, the impact of social sciences on cultural heritage through research conducted in the context of the national culture and cultural heritage of the Turkic world, and strengthening scientific ties between academic institutions of countries (Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Kokand State Pedagogical Institute Vice-Rector Nigora Kodirova noted the historical significance of holding the III International Turkology Conference. She emphasized that the event contributes to strengthening our unity and solidarity, and highlighted the great responsibility scholars bear in this regard.

Today, the III International Turkology Conference will continue its work in sectional meetings. Within the congress framework, various topics such as language, literature, folklore, culture, history, art, political science, social policy and migration studies, sociology, ecology, and international relations are expected to be discussed.
