JSPU Delegation Participates in an International Scientific Conference in Guba
An international scientific conference titled “Higher Education in the Regions: Realities and Prospects” is being held in the city of Guba, Republic of Azerbaijan.The delegation of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University participating in the conference includes M. Djelyalov, Head of the Interfaculty Department of Russian Language, and Sh. Rashidov, Specialist of the International Cooperation Department.
The conference began with a flower-laying ceremony at the monument of Heydar Aliyev, the first President of the Azerbaijani people.
During the official opening ceremony, welcoming speeches were delivered by Yusuf Aliyev, Rector of the Guba Branch of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, and Saida Abbasova, First Deputy Head of the Guba Regional Executive Authority.
Special attention was paid to the memorandum declaring Jizzakh and Guba as sister (partner) cities, signed at the initiative of Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ilham Aliyev during the Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan Business Forum held on August 23, 2024, in Tashkent.
The Guba regional authorities and the university rector expressed special gratitude to JDPU Rector Maqsudjon Abdullayevich Yuldashev for the ongoing cooperation and participation in the conference.
Memorabilia were presented to Rector Yusuf Aliyev and First Deputy Head Saida Abbasova on behalf of the JDPU Rector.
The event is being held in a spirit of friendship, mutual respect, and scientific cooperation.
