⌛ Issues related to the selection of candidates for the 2026–2027 academic year were discussed.
🏛 A meeting dedicated to the effective organization of the admission process to the Uzbekistan State Sports Academy for the 2026/2027 academic year was held at the Ministry of Sports building located in the Olympic City.
🔗 At the meeting, the sports results of candidates recommended for 14 Olympic and 6 Paralympic sports disciplines at the Academy were reviewed.
➡️ Candidates proposed by sports federations and associations were thoroughly discussed by members of the Republican Commission, and an appropriate decision was made to recommend them to the State Commission.
ℹ️ The event was held under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. Maxmudov. Representatives of the Uzbekistan State Sports Academy, the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, the Deputy Chairperson of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan, sports federations and associations, heads of High Sports Skill Schools, and senior coaches of national teams participated, exchanging views on candidates’ results, preparation levels, and prospects.
💯 This meeting became an important stage in improving the athlete selection system, enhancing the quality of sports education, and shaping the future reserve of national sports talent.
