International Round Table in Germany: Tashkent State Transport University Expands Dual Education and Cooperation with Leading Industrial Enterprises.

As part of their official visit to Germany, the delegation of Tashkent State Transport University (TSTU) participated in an international round table titled "Dual Education in the Higher Education System of Germany: Experience, Best Practices, and Future Cooperation," organized at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Federal Republic of Germany.

During the round table, which brought together representatives from various ministries and agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan alongside leading German higher education institutions, successfully implemented dual education models and the integration of education and industry were comprehensively discussed. Main focus was placed on the prospects of directly integrating advanced foreign experience into our university's educational process. The objective is to enable TSTU students to participate in the real production processes of prestigious foreign enterprises and enhance their practical skills during their studies.

As a practical outcome of the visit, a series of memoranda of cooperation were signed between Tashkent State Transport University and leading German companies in the fields of industry and high technology, namely CHIRON Group SE, INDEX-Werke GmbH & Co. KG Hahn & Tessky, and Gleason Sales (Germany). Within the framework of these prestigious agreements, our university aims to accomplish the following promising tasks:

  • Implementation of Dual Education: Launching practice-oriented and dual education programs at our university in cooperation with German partners;

  • International Internships: Systematically organizing practical training and internships for our students at advanced industrial enterprises;

  • Scientific and Practical Cooperation: Enhancing practical training within companies and executing joint projects focused on manufacturing challenges;

  • Technological Integration: Bringing modern German industrial technologies and solutions directly into the university's educational process.

These agreements represent a major historic milestone for Tashkent State Transport University in training modern cadres based on international standards and expanding long-term practical cooperation with Germany's leading industrial enterprises.
