Cooperation with Nanjing Audit University Representatives on Public Audit Training Discussed

On April 22 of the current year, representatives of Nanjing Audit University visited the university and held a meeting with the First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, S. Makhmonov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the next stages of cooperation development. In particular, the implementation of joint educational programs and the expansion of academic mobility for faculty members and students were identified as priority areas. In addition, discussions were held on joint publication of scientific articles and the organization of international scientific and practical conferences.

Furthermore, issues related to enhancing cooperation within the framework of the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 18, 2025, No. PF-252 “On additional measures to further improve the activities of public audit and financial control” were considered. Specifically, proposals were supported to introduce education in accounting and auditing based on international standards, as well as to create opportunities for students and professionals to obtain internationally recognized certifications.
