preparation and publication of spiritual-educational and scientific-popular literature based on the results of scientific research;

in order to support young students, by attracting local and international grants, to effectively organize their education abroad, to carry out scientific and creative work, to organize joint concert programs on a regular basis;

to increase the scientific potential of personnel, to further develop scientific and creative activities, to widely attract talented students and young people to this direction;

The Urganch branch of the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan has all the conditions for students. Especially for foreign students, there are all the conditions, for example, a dormitory has been organized for students, and a library has been organized for students to spend their free time meaningfully.
Especially the student dormitory is equipped according to modern requirements.

There is 1 student residence with 150 beds belonging to the branch.
The door and window frames of the student accommodation building of the branch are made of modern plastic frames and are in good condition, and the lighting is equipped with energy-saving lamps. There is no elevator in the student accommodation.
The rooms of the student buildings are fully equipped with bunk beds, tables, chairs and soft furniture.
WiFi is installed and working in the student residence building. Student housing is located on the 4th floor of the educational building. Therefore, students use the existing library and computer rooms of the educational building. The library and computer rooms are equipped with modern computer equipment and are connected to the Internet, and the limit is not limited.
Currently, 19 students live in the student housing building. A kitchen is available. The kitchen has 3 refrigerators and 2 electric stoves, a dining table and chairs. Hot and cold water is provided with sewerage.
The student residence building has 2 washrooms, 1 washer and dryer, and 2 toilets and showers and is in good condition.
There are 1 separate ironing and laundry rooms in the student accommodation. The laundry room has 3 washing machines.

Visa Application Procedure:

🔹 1. Admission to an Educational Institution

To obtain a student visa, a foreign citizen must first be officially admitted to an accredited higher education institution (HEI) in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The HEI prepares an official letter of permission or invitation and submits it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Uzbekistan.

🔹 2. Approval by the MFA

Based on the invitation sent by the HEI in Uzbekistan, the MFA sends an official authorization letter (via telex) to the Uzbek embassy or consulate abroad for visa processing.

This process usually takes 7 to 14 working days.

🔹 3. Obtaining a Visa at the Embassy or Consulate

The student must apply to the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan in their home country.

Required documents:

• A valid passport (must be valid for at least 6 months)

• 2 biometric photos (3.5 x 4.5 cm)

• Letter of permission/invitation from the HEI

• Visa application form (available on the embassy's website or on-site)

• Health insurance (in some cases)

• Consular fee (approximately 40–60 USD)

🔹 4. Entry into Uzbekistan

Upon arrival in Uzbekistan with a visa, the student must:

• Visit the educational institution and complete registration.

• Register temporarily at the local Department of Internal Affairs within 10 days of arrival, according to their place of residence (this may be a dormitory, apartment, or other accommodation).

🔹 5. Visa Extension

The student visa is typically issued for a period of 3 months to 1 year.

Depending on the length of the study program, the visa can be extended by the Main Department of Migration and Citizenship Registration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In October 2022, international cooperation agreements were signed with the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From November 14 to 17, 2025, the branch professor Gavhar Matyoqubova, along with fourth-year students Sapaeva Risolat, Raimboeva Xilola, and first-year student Masharipova Bibimaryam, participated in the “Lazgi and Indian Dance Festival” in India.
