About the university
Tashkent University of Applied Sciences was founded in 2021 and today is a dynamically developing educational institution focused on practical training of students for the requirements of the modern labor market.
The university has 4 faculties: Pedagogy and Psychology, Economics, Languages and Literature and Information Technologies. Education is carried out in 21 educational programs.
A special pride of the University is the educational model “4+2” and “5+1”, which combines theoretical training and compulsory practice from the second year. Students spend 4-5 days in classrooms and 1-2 days every week in practice in leading companies, institutions and organizations.
To ensure high quality of training, the University has 7 modern campuses in Tashkent with equipped classrooms, IT-labs, libraries, coworking and lounge zones.
The activity of the university is carried out on the basis of license No. 029914 dated June 14, 2022, issued in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education”.
For international students
Education at the University of Tashkent for Applied Sciences is conducted in the Uzbek language.
English-taught programs and preparatory courses for international students are currently not available.
The university is ready to assist international students in finding housing, and the establishment of student dormitories is planned for the future.
If necessary, assistance with visa arrangements and registration in the Republic of Uzbekistan may be provided.
As part of the university’s ongoing development, the creation of an International Student Support Office is planned.
International partnerships
The University of Tashkent for Applied Sciences is actively developing international cooperation in the fields of education and research.
The university has signed cooperation agreements with several foreign educational institutions, including Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (Estonia), and Sungkonghoe University (Republic of Korea), as well as universities in Poland and Latvia.
Currently, efforts are underway to develop academic exchange programs, joint educational initiatives, and participation in international projects.
Expanding international cooperation is one of the university’s strategic priorities.

Opportunities for students
The University of Tashkent for Applied Sciences focuses on the practical training of specialists capable of successfully entering the labor market.
The academic curriculum incorporates regular professional internships, allowing students to develop practical skills in real-world environments from the early years of study.
Students of the university participate in national competitions and incentive programs. In 2024, seven students were awarded prestigious state scholarships named after Alisher Navoi, Zahiriddin Babur, and Islam Karimov.
The university also operates a Career Center dedicated to supporting students’ professional development and strengthening connections with employers.
Faculties
The Faculty of History and Philology was established in 2023. The faculty consists of 4 departments. Currently, about 110 professors and teachers work at the faculty.
The Faculty of Pedagogy was established in 2022. The faculty consists of 4 departments. Currently, more than 160 professors and teachers work at the faculty. Today, 665 students study at the faculty, of which 366 are graduates.
The Faculty of Information Technologies was established in 2022. The faculty consists of 2 departments. Currently, the faculty has about 55 professors and teachers. Today, the faculty has 367 students, of which 214 are graduates.
The Faculty of Economics was established in 2023. The faculty consists of 3 departments. Currently, the faculty employs more than 75 professors and teachers. Today, the faculty has 663 students, of whom 349 are graduates.
