About the university

Tashkent University of Economics and Pedagogy was established in 2022 in the city of Chirchiq, Tashkent Region, Uzbekistan. The university operates under License No. L-4409374.

The university comprises the faculties of Economics, Computer Engineering, Native Language and Literature, Foreign Languages and Literature, Pedagogy and Psychology, Primary Education, Preschool Education, History, and Physical Education. These faculties offer 16 undergraduate (Bachelor’s) programs and 3 Master’s degree programs.

The university provides excellent opportunities for publishing scientific research. In particular, the "Scientific and Methodological Journal of Tashkent University of Economics and Pedagogy" is included in the list of recognized scientific journals approved by the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) of the Republic of Uzbekistan. To encourage and support talented students, the university also publishes the student newspaper "Uyghonish" (Renaissance).

The educational process is conducted by experienced professors and lecturers. Students have access to a modern library, a spacious reading hall, and computer laboratories equipped with Internet access.

The university actively develops international cooperation and has established partnerships with nearly ten developed countries around the world. Successful academic collaboration is maintained with institutions in Russia, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, and Azerbaijan. The university also offers Rector’s Scholarships and various grant opportunities for outstanding students.

For international students

Currently, international students from Germany, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan are studying at the university in the fields of Economics and Information Technology (IT).

International partnerships

o expand its activities on the international stage, the Tashkent University of Economics and Pedagogy plans to increase the number of international students to 300 during the current academic year.

To achieve this goal, the university has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with a number of foreign organizations and educational institutions.

To create a convenient and accessible information environment for international students, the university maintains official pages on Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, where prospective and current students can access up-to-date information about academic programs, admission procedures, campus life, and university activities.

Today, the Tashkent University of Economics and Pedagogy has established cooperation with numerous foreign universities and educational agencies by signing partnership memorandums aimed at attracting international students and strengthening international collaboration.

In particular, within the framework of the Central Asia – European Union Universities Congress, held in 2026, the university's delegation reached important bilateral agreements with several prestigious foreign higher education institutions to establish long-term academic partnerships.

These agreements provide for cooperation in the fields of academic mobility, student exchange programs, joint scientific research, professional development of academic staff, as well as other promising areas of international cooperation.

Language courses
