About the university

The university is one of the newest international projects in the higher education system of Uzbekistan, established in the spring of 2025 under the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It commenced its activities based on Presidential Decree No. PQ-24, signed on January 24, 2025. TDXU operates on a hybrid and international educational model. Students study under a Joint Program and, upon graduation, receive diplomas from both Uzbekistan and Turkey without any additional examinations (nostrification). The university's main partners hold high positions in the prestigious QS World University Rankings.

The Faculty of Medicine was established in cooperation with Hacettepe University, a leader in Turkey and ranked TOP 571 globally, and classes are conducted according to the Turkish educational curriculum.

The Faculty of Computer Engineering was opened in cooperation with ODTU/METU (Middle East Technical University), which ranks TOP 269 in the world. The diploma of this university bears the stamp of American quality. This means that the diploma of this university holds equal status with the diplomas of American universities.
