About the university
The University of Innovation Technologies (UIT) is one of the first non-state higher education institutions established in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The university officially commenced its activities in November 2022 under a state-issued license.
Today, more than 200 faculty members provide education and training to over 8,000 students. Academic programs are delivered in both full-time and part-time formats, utilizing innovative teaching methodologies and modern information and communication technologies.
UIT collaborates with leading universities around the world and actively engages international professors in the educational process. The university’s mission is to prepare highly qualified, competitive professionals equipped with modern knowledge and skills while facilitating their successful integration into society.
The educational process is organized in accordance with the Law on Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, State Educational Standards, and qualification requirements. Classrooms and lecture halls are equipped with advanced multimedia technologies, video and audio systems, and distance-learning facilities.
The university implements a credit-modular system and electronic learning platforms that provide access to digital educational resources across all disciplines, ensuring educational quality aligned with international standards.
Achievements and International Recognition
- Achieved Reporter Status in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025 in October 2024.
- Earned recognition in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2024 in December 2024.
- Currently ranked 1364th globally among more than 30,000 higher education institutions and 50th in Uzbekistan among over 200 universities.
- Introduced a system for awarding academic titles to faculty members from January 2024.
- Organized a national scientific conference in Nukus and an international conference in Samarkand in 2024.
- Students successfully participated in the Techno Ways Technology Development Marathon with innovative projects.
- Four students were awarded state scholarships under Order No. 464 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan dated December 11, 2024.
- Established partnerships with 21 higher education institutions across 12 countries.






For international students
Currently, the University of Innovation Technologies provides modern classrooms equipped with all necessary facilities, educational materials, and learning resources. Students can also access additional academic resources and literature in the university libraries. Furthermore, a housing support system has been established for international students on an equal basis with local students. Fully equipped dormitories with double and triple occupancy rooms have been made available for students. The dormitories are furnished with modern information technologies and facilities. All necessary conditions have been created to ensure that students receive a high-quality education during their studies.
International partnerships

Our university offers a modern, open, and innovative educational environment for international students and global partners.
The international activities of our university are organized in accordance with modern educational requirements, global academic standards, and innovative approaches, aiming to ensure international integration in the fields of education and science. This area plays a significant role in the university’s strategic development and positions it as an active participant in the global educational community.
As part of our international initiatives, the university has established partnerships with prestigious higher education institutions across Asia and Europe. These collaborations provide students and academic staff with opportunities for knowledge exchange, implementation of best practices, advancement of scientific research, and development of joint educational programs.
The University of Innovation Technologies has established cooperation with 25 higher education institutions in 15 countries.
The University of Innovation Technologies has been granted the “Reporter” status in the “World University Rankings 2025” published by the international ranking agency Times Higher Education.
In the “Asia University Rankings 2025” published by Times Higher Education, the University of Innovation Technologies achieved the “601+ Reporter” status.
Currently, the University of Innovation Technologies ranks 1,364th among higher education institutions worldwide in this prestigious global ranking and holds the 50th position among more than 200 higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.


Language courses
About the Activities of the “Creative Zone” Club
The “Creative Zone” Club began its activities in the 2023–2024 academic year with the aim of developing students’ communicative competence, enhancing their ability to communicate fluently in English, and fostering creative and critical thinking skills. The club’s sessions are regularly organized under the guidance of the professors and instructors of the Department of Philology.
Throughout its activities, students have actively participated in discussions on various topics, presentations, essay and article writing, as well as creative assignments. These activities help students strengthen their theoretical knowledge through practice, develop independent thinking, and improve teamwork skills.
During the 2025–2026 academic year, 10 sessions were conducted within the framework of the club. At the final meeting, the achievements of the year were reviewed, and active participants were recognized and awarded. During the event, the Head of the Department of Philology, Olimjon Zaripov, emphasized that the “Creative Zone” Club plays an important role in developing students’ creative potential and communicative competence. The club will continue its activities in the future and create new opportunities for students.

The Faculty of Innovative Pedagogy started its activities in the 2024–2025 academic year.
Today, more than 1,700 students are studying at the faculty, and every year more than 150 students graduate and receive bachelor's degrees.
Under the leadership of the Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor O. Zaripov, significant achievements have been attained in the fields of education, research, and spiritual-enlightenment activities.
Currently, the faculty consists of the Department of Philology, the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, and the Department of Preschool and Primary Education. The faculty employs a total of 85 academic staff members, including 3 Doctors of Science and 25 Candidates of Science and PhD holders, who actively contribute to the education and upbringing of students.

The faculty commenced its activities in the 2022–2023 academic year and has since become one of the most active and promising structural divisions of the university, effectively operating in the fields of education, research, and spiritual-enlightenment activities.
The faculty's primary goal is to prepare competitive and highly qualified specialists who meet the demands of the modern labor market. Currently, nearly 1,300 students are studying at the faculty, and every year hundreds of graduates earn bachelor's degrees and successfully pursue careers in various sectors.
Within a short period, the Faculty of Innovative Technologies and Business has become one of the university's leading faculties due to its strong academic potential, experienced professors, and modern educational environment. At present, the faculty employs 64 academic staff members, including 3 Doctors of Science and 39 Candidates of Science and PhD holders, who provide high-quality education and training to students.
The faculty offers modern classrooms equipped with information and communication technologies, as well as extensive opportunities for research and practical skill development. The educational process is organized based on modern pedagogical approaches, ensuring thorough preparation for future professional activities.
In the future, the faculty aims to expand international cooperation, introduce new educational programs, further develop research activities, and continue training competitive specialists with modern professional competencies.
