Water Management and Land Reclamation is an important and promising field focused on the rational and efficient use of water resources, improvement of the reclamation condition of irrigated lands, and sustainable water supply for agriculture and other sectors. The field covers water resource management, design, construction and operation of irrigation and drainage systems, preservation of soil fertility, and improvement of water-use efficiency.
The Water Management and Land Reclamation program at Bukhara State Technical University prepares highly qualified specialists in modern irrigation and drainage systems, water resource management, hydraulic structures, land reclamation measures and water-saving technologies. The educational program combines theoretical knowledge with modern laboratory equipment, surveying and hydraulic measurement tools, practical training and real-world water management projects.
