Tourism and Hospitality

This educational program provides students with the theoretical and practical foundations of tourism and hospitality, covering key management elements, the history of the field, tourism sites affiliated with the Tourism Agency, as well as the functioning and management of hotels and restaurants. Structure of the academic process:

• Theoretical and practical training – 64 weeks (semesters 1–6)

• Internship – 36 weeks (semesters 2–6)

• Assessments – 16 weeks (semesters 1–6)

• Final state examination – 3 weeks (semester 6)

• Introduction to the credit system and course selection – 3 weeks (semesters 1, 2, 4)

• Vacations – 28 weeks (semesters 1–6)

• GPA evaluation – 2 weeks (semesters 2, 4)

Notes:

• 1 credit = 30 academic hours

• GPA is evaluated in the third week of August

• The working curriculum is based on the academic plan

• Final state certification includes defense of a thesis or exams in major disciplines

• Practical sessions are held both in the university and base organizations

• To ensure the integration of theory and practice, internships are held at affiliated institutions

• For coursework, 1 credit is given per 30 academic hours from independent learning

• Internship hours are distributed between university and organization supervisors
