Textual Studies and Literary Source Studies: Persian

The Persian Textual Studies and Literary Source Studies program is designed for the in-depth study of Persian manuscripts, historical documents, literary heritage, and scholarly works. Students gain comprehensive knowledge of Classical and Modern Persian, textual criticism, source studies, literary criticism, and historical research methodology.

Throughout the program, students develop practical skills in working with Oriental manuscripts, preparing scholarly annotations, translating historical sources, and editing manuscripts for publication. The curriculum provides a strong academic foundation for students interested in pursuing research and scholarly careers.
