Textual Studies and Literary Source Studies: Arabic

This academic program prepares specialists in the scholarly study of Oriental manuscripts and Arabic historical, religious, philosophical, and literary sources. Students gain in-depth knowledge of Classical Arabic, paleography, codicology, textual criticism, source studies, and methodologies for working with historical documents.
