Psychology (Applied Psychology): Types of Professional Activities of Graduates

Graduates of the  Psychology (Applied Psychology) program may carry out the following types of professional activities:

providing psychological support at enterprises, organizations, and institutions;

organizing and conducting psychological activities in the educational environment, working with children of preschool educational institutions, teachers, students, and staff of general secondary schools, secondary specialized and vocational education institutions, as well as clients of rehabilitation and psychological service centers;

organizing the process of conducting tests of the Republican Diagnostic Center and applying psychological research methods;

working with sports team coaches and athletes, clients of psychological services, and patients who seek support for personal problems;

organizing and using equipment in experimental psychology laboratories;

solving psychological problems in trade and consumer service sectors, working with mahallas and citizens;

organizing the activities of psychological service centers for the population;

providing psychological assistance to military and law enforcement agencies;

selecting personnel and organizing their work from a psychological perspective;

conducting psychodiagnostic, psychological counseling, psychocorrectional, psychoprophylactic, and psychological educational activities, as well as carrying out scientific research in the field of psychology.

Graduates of the Psychology (Applied Psychology) program may continue their studies in master’s degree specialties within the periods established by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
