      Bachelor's degree direction 60230100-Philology and language teaching (Russian language) includes tasks related to this direction, namely: teaching Russian language and literature in higher, secondary, and secondary specialized educational institutions in groups with both Russian and Uzbek as the language of instruction; at advanced training and retraining courses; work in government agencies, editorial offices, museums, translation centers, etc.

      The curriculum is formed on the basis of a credit-module system and corresponds to professional competencies; students must master compulsory subjects in their specialty and elective courses, undergo practical training and acquire the knowledge, skills and qualification competence necessary for professional activity.

      Compulsory subjects are a set of subjects aimed at acquiring general educational and professional competencies in the field of undergraduate education, providing the necessary basic knowledge and skills.

       Elective disciplines are a set of subjects, in-depth specialization within the field of education, providing additional knowledge, expanding the competencies necessary for direct specialization, and also supporting the personal interests, creative approaches and talent of the student.

       The following practices are carried out in the field of education: qualification is aimed at consolidating theoretical knowledge in general education and special subjects and connecting them with practical (production) processes, developing relevant practical skills, competencies and qualifications; Pedagogical practice is aimed at improving teaching skills.

       All subjects are taught in Russian, with the exception of the discipline “Uzbek language (Russian language)” in the 1st year.

After successful completion of 4 years of study, the specialty of philologist and teacher is assigned.

       1 credit is equal to 30 academic hours.

      The average score is determined annually in the 3rd week of August.

      The block of elective subjects is determined by the decision of the Council for Higher Education from a set of subjects that ensure the requirements, adaptability and mobility of the labor market and customer personnel.

      Qualification practice is aimed at consolidating theoretical knowledge in general education and special subjects and connecting them with practical (production) processes, developing relevant practical skills, competencies and qualifications; Pedagogical practice is aimed at improving teaching skills. In order to ensure the integrity of theory and practice, qualifying practice of students is carried out in secondary schools of Uzbekistan.

       The defense of the final qualifying work is carried out during the final state certification.
