Those who study in this direction will learn the Uzbek language and literature perfectly. In addition, they can learn one of English, German or French languages based on a choice.

In the 1st stage - Information technologies, working in the state language, theory of linguistics, Eastern (Arabic, Persian) languages, Uzbek folklore, theory of literature, the latest history of Uzbekistan. History of Samarkand Civilization, Philosophy, World Literature, Current Literary Process, Religious Studies, and Qualified Field Practice in Uzbek Folklore.
From the 2nd stage, students choose the subjects of the department they are interested in.
In the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th stages, the modern Uzbek literary language, history of Uzbek literature, computer linguistics, Uzbek dialectology, Navoi studies, general pedagogy. General psychology, history of the Uzbek language, New Uzbek literature, methods of teaching the Uzbek language and literature, comparative literature, history of Uzbek linguistics are taught, and elective subjects are studied every semester starting from the third semester. Also, at the end of each course, they are involved in professional practice.
After successfully completing a 4 years study (bachelor), the status of philologist-pedagogue is awarded.
1 credit is 30 academic hours.
GPA is determined annually in the third week of August.
When creating a working study plan based on the curriculum, while maintaining the weekly volume of the student load, changing the size of the block of academic subjects up to 5%, the volume of the subjects in the blocks up to 10%, and maintaining the total volume of the audience load, free volume of weekly loads in some semesters can be specified.
The term of the final state certification includes the defense of the graduation thesis.
Practical training and laboratory work of subjects related to the specialization included in the curriculum are held in higher education institutions and basic organizations and enterprises.
In order to ensure the integrity of theory and practice, students' qualification practices are conducted in basic organizations and enterprises.
Course work is carried out on the basis of I credit at the expense of independent study hours allocated to this subject.
