1. What will you study?
Within this programme, students will not only learn to communicate fluently in Arabic, but will also gain an in-depth understanding of the rich history of the Arabic language, the art of writing the Arabic alphabet in beautiful calligraphic styles, Arab culture, and effective methods of teaching it to others.
The programme covers the following key areas:
- Linguistic Foundation: Systematic study of Arabic phonetics, morphology, syntax, and lexicology. Comparative-historical analysis of the Uzbek and Arabic languages.
- Speech Culture and Communication: Academic writing, logical thinking, public speaking, and the ability to communicate and exchange ideas confidently in international settings.
- Translation Practice: Techniques of simultaneous and consecutive interpreting and translation of press materials, official and administrative documents, and literary works from Arabic into Uzbek and vice versa.
- Modern Pedagogy: Innovative methods of foreign language teaching, educational psychology, and effective use of digital and interactive technologies in the classroom.
- Literature and Civilization: Classical and modern Arabic literature, Islamic culture, and the socio-political history of Arab countries.
