Philology and language teaching: Arabic language

Through this academic program, you will acquire comprehensive knowledge of Arabic grammar, phonetics, vocabulary, classical and modern Arabic literature, methodologies for teaching Arabic language and literature, language teaching technologies, and the fundamentals of Oriental Studies. The field of Philology and Language Teaching (Arabic Language) is currently considered highly important due to the growing demand for qualified teachers in schools, academic lyceums, and higher education institutions, as well as the increasing significance of preserving cultural heritage, strengthening international cooperation, and studying the rich scholarly legacy left by our ancestors.

Over the course of four years, students enrolled in the Bachelor's degree program in Philology and Language Teaching (Arabic Language) will develop a wide range of theoretical knowledge and practical competencies. The curriculum is designed to provide students with the latest and most essential academic and professional skills required in the field. Within this educational program, students are required to complete a total of 240 ECTS credits over 8 semesters (4 years), including:

• Total classroom instruction: 2,520 hours
• Professional internship (teaching practice): 450 hours
• Bachelor’s graduation thesis: 420 hours
