60110100 — Pedagogy and Psychology (Additional Upbringing): Types of Professional Activities of Graduates

The educational program 60110100 — Pedagogy and Psychology (teacher of the subject “Upbringing”) covers a range of professional activities related to the training of pedagogical staff for pedagogical and psychological educational institutions, academic lyceums, and technical schools. It includes subjects used in the process of training bachelor’s degree specialists, as well as tools, approaches, and methods of pedagogical activity.

Graduates of this program may work as teachers of the subject “Upbringing” in general secondary schools, as methodologist-educators, and as social pedagogues. They may also work as psychologists in educational institutions and teach professional subjects in academic lyceums and vocational education institutions in accordance with the established procedure.

They may work as classroom supervisors, laboratory assistants, and in equivalent positions within the education system. They may also engage in scientific and pedagogical research at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, sectoral research institutes, or as independent researchers.

In addition, graduates may carry out professional activities in mass media, public administration bodies, and other state and non-state institutions.

Graduates of the Pedagogy and Psychology program may continue their studies in bachelor’s specializations within the periods established by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
