Organic farming and food security

The Master's Programme in Organic Farming and Food Safety trains highly qualified specialists in organic agricultural production, food safety and the sustainable management of natural resources. It focuses on producing ecologically clean food through the rational use of land, water, energy and material-technical resources, preserving and improving soil fertility, and optimizing production processes within organic farming systems. Students develop advanced competencies in modern organic-farming technologies, the planning, organization and management of production, food-safety assurance and applied scientific research. Graduates work in organic-production farms and enterprises, food-safety and certification bodies, scientific-research institutes, agro-clusters and state and local agricultural management organizations, and may pursue scientific-pedagogical activity.
