About the department

In 2019, the chair "Oil and gas processing facilities" was founded by the rector of Tashkent State Technical University, prof. S.M. It was organized on the initiative of Turabdjanov.

In 2019-2021, the chair of "Oil and gas processing facilities" was headed by prof. Ph.D. Urinov Ulugbek Komiljonovich directed.

From August 30, 2021, to the department of "Oil and gas processing facilities" Nazarbekov Makhmudbek Kasimbekovich is leading.

The main scientific direction of the department is to carry out scientific researches in the search for solutions to the problems of oil and gas transportation, storage and processing, technological processes in the oil and gas industry. The department also prepares scientific personnel (bachelor and master).

Currently, professors and teachers of the department use secondary energy resources in the process of gas transportation and storage, storage of oil products, creation and improvement of technology for retaining hydrocarbon fuels, optimization of the process of cleaning oil products, obtaining new types of fuels, gas Scientific research is being carried out on the topics of study and analysis of losses in layers in underground storage facilities, increasing the efficiency of diethylene glycol desalination in natural gas purification and drying facilities, monitoring rules for the use of underground gas storage facilities.

The results of scientific work are implemented in the production enterprises belonging to Uzbekneftgaz, Uztransgaz and Hududgaztaminot JSC.

 The professors and teachers of the department prepare textbooks, study guides, lecture texts, educational and methodological instructions for practical and practical work, manuals for completing course work, JN, ON and YAN. questionnaires and test tasks have been prepared.

New informational and pedagogical technologies are being introduced into the teaching process, EXMs are being used. Modern pedagogical methods such as "Thoughts attack", "Networks" (cluster) are being introduced into the educational process by professors and teachers.

Further improvement of the material and technical base of the department, application of scientific achievements in practical, experimental trainings and lectures are urgent tasks. Talented students are involved in scientific work, they participate in student scientific conferences with lectures, the obtained scientific results are published in scientific journals of the republic.

During the following years, professors and teachers of the department published monographs, textbooks and manuals, methodological instructions for practical and experimental training, and more than 50 scientific articles. Many resources have been added to the "Zionet" website: electronic versions of textbooks and training manuals.
