About the programme
The Mining Engineering programme is designed to train specialists in mineral deposit development and mining operations management.
Students study geology, mine surveying, mining machinery and equipment, open-pit and underground mining technologies, industrial safety, mine ventilation, digital modelling, economics and production management.
Practical training includes laboratory classes, engineering calculations, mine planning and the solution of real industrial problems.
Graduates may work as mining engineers, process engineers, designers, industrial safety specialists, equipment operation specialists and production managers.
