About the programme
The Master’s program in Literary Studies: English Literature is aimed at advanced study of the history of English literature, literary processes, genre development, literary text analysis, literary criticism, comparative literary studies and modern research methods. During the program, students study different periods of English literature, the works of major writers, literary movements, cultural context and methods of scholarly analysis of literary works.
Graduates of this program may work in higher education institutions, research organizations, educational institutions, publishing houses, cultural centers, and organizations related to translation and literary analysis. The program is designed to train highly qualified specialists with advanced knowledge of English literature, the ability to analyse literary texts on a scholarly basis, and the competence to carry out academic and pedagogical activities.
